Authors Guidelines

As many presentations include cutting-edge and unpublished research results, photography, audio recording, and video recording of oral and poster sessions are not permitted. We thank you for respecting the confidentiality of the scientific content shared during the congress.

Instructions for Oral Presentations

Oral presentations should be no longer than 12 minutes, leaving 3 minutes for questions and discussion. If you have been invited to give a 30 min presentation, please prepare a presentation of up to 25 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for questions. Sessions are tightly scheduled, the allotted time for presentation must be strictly observed.

Please refer to the program (app ou website) for more information on the date and time of your presentation.

Uploading Oral Presentations

All presentation files must be uploaded through your participant profile on the conference website at least 24 hours before the scheduled presentation time.

A preview room will be available at the Congress Centre, allowing speakers to verify that their presentation displays correctly before their session.

Please note that any modifications made after the 24-hour deadline will not be synchronized with the conference presentation system. As a result, the version displayed in the conference room will be the latest version uploaded before the deadline. We therefore strongly encourage presenters to upload their final version no later than 24 hours prior to their presentation.

For organizational and technical reasons, presentations from personal laptops or direct uploads from USB devices in the conference rooms will not be permitted. All presentations must be uploaded in advance through the conference platform.

Please also note that remote presentations via videoconference or other online communication tools will not be possible. All oral presentations must be delivered in person at the conference venue.

Instructions for Posters

Posters must be displayed in portrait (vertical) orientation, in standard A0 format (840 mm wide × 1190 mm high). Please include the poster title at the top and clearly highlight the name of the presenting author. Text should be easily readable from a distance of approximately 120 cm, with a recommended minimum font size of 28 pt.

Special adhesive tape suitable for poster boards will be provided on site. Please note that no alternative fixing systems (pins, hooks, Velcro, or any other attachment devices) will be allowed.

There will be no printing facilities available at the conference venue, so posters must be printed in advance.

There will be two poster sessions during ECE 2026. Please refer to the scientific programme (available on the app or website) to check whether your poster is assigned to the first or second session. All posters will be displayed for two full days and will be easily accessible during lunch and coffee breaks.
